The Search window has a number of options. This window helps you setup your search criteria.

You can select entire drives or specific folders to search in. All subfolders will be selected automatically, but if you want to exclude a subfolder from the search, simply expand the tree and uncheck the appropriate folder. Next, define your search criteria by checking / unchecking the appropriate items.


Search For


Duplicate Files Search for files with different name or location but with same content. Duplicate files are determined based on CRC32 checksums, with a high accuracy rate.
Temporary & Junk Files Search for files by mask (wildcard). For example: *.tmp;*.bak;*.old etc. This can help you to find unneeded (backup, old, temporary, cache) files.
Empty Files & Folders Search for empty (zero-size) files and folders. Helps you to find empty files and folders on your drives.
Infrequently used files Search for files files not accessed, not modified, or not created within a given period of time.
