Duplicate Files Options

Ignore files with attributes:

Ignore files with attributes allows you specify which files must be ignored in duplicate file search.

  • System

    Ignore system files, this is a highly recommended option.

  • Hidden

    Ignore hidden files, this is a highly recommended option.

  • Read-only

    Ignore read-only files.

  • Read-only

    Ignore files with 'Archive' attribute.


Ignore if file size:

  • Larger Than

    Ignore if file has size greater than the specified size.

  • Less Than

    Ignore if file has size less than the specified size.

Ignore by mask:

Ignore files and folders if file name or path matches the specified mask. Example: *.exe - will ignore all files with EXE extension, C:\WINDOWS\* - will ignore all files in C:\WINDOWS folder.

* - matches any zero or more characters.

? - match any one character.

  • Add - add a new mask to list.
  • Edit - edit selected item (also you can just double-click on item to edit).
  • Delete - delete selected mask (if you want just disable mask item you can simple uncheck item).
