NTFS Compression/Decompression

NTFS compression is available only on volumes that use the NTFS file system (Windows 2000/XP and above). By using NTFS compression you can decrease files size and reduces the amount of space they use on your hard drives.

Also you can save your disk space by decompressing zero-size files, because real size of compressed zero-size file equals to minimal file size on drive. You can view the minimal files size for specified the drive on a Disk Information page.
